For Infants, Toddlers, and preschoolers, the quality of the care they receive is crucial to their healthy development and eventual readiness for school.

HCFS is here to help child care centers provide the highest quality of care through on-site technical assistance and other support.  Through our Facility Quality Enhancement (FQE) program, we provide intensive one-on-one coaching and mentoring to child care staff, as well as, DSS certified training to centers that apply and are approved for services.

HCFS hosts a bi-monthly Director’s Network meeting and training.  Child Care Directors and/or Owners are invited to attend the meetings as a means to network and participate in a learning community.  All training hours are DSS certified and specific to the role of a Child Care Director/Owner.  Contact Melissa Vlasaty at 843-488-3336 to get a training schedule.
